Just a few helpful
pointers for people who are comparing pricing and plans.
1.) Don't be fooled by
the people who say you can have un-metered/unlimited space and bandwidth.
Its just a smoke and mirrors sales trick. We're not here to blow
smoke we are here to provide quality hosting at a fair price.
Un-metered/Unlimited is a dream. Everything has a limit.
2.) Cheaper hosting is
not a sign of a good host. Places like Go-Daddy, Yahoo, and
other such companies offering deals like you can't imagine are
not all their cracked up to be. Their primary concern is money
in their pocket, not your needs. They all seem to offer you 300
different services you don't really need so that they can nickel
and dime you out of your money. Not to mention as your site gets
larger and uses up more resources they will drop your hosting
due to a "TOS" violation with no warning and no concern. We hope
that you will make the right choice and choose your hosting
provider by quality and personal support. With Digital Eagles
when you have an issue you can call and speak to a
representative in the US who actually speaks English, and who
will help you on a personal level. Not a new person every time
who has no idea who you are or what your needs initial.
3.) Make sure your
dealing with the server owner. We own and maintain multiple
servers. If you have issues you will be dealing directing with
us. With alot of hosts out there your dealing with a reseller.
When you have issues you have to get with them and then they
have to get with the server owner. Who wants to deal with the
middle man?
4.) Be sure that your
host provides you with quality support options. Many places will
offer you a phone number that will ring to voice mail every time
and will return your call when its convenient for them. Or they
offer no number, just a support ticket system that may take
hours to get a response from. Some of our clients have even
complained of hosts that didn't return their support tickets for
days. With Digital Eagles we have both phone and ticket support
set up to serve you the best we can. We even run split shifts in
our offices to provide the best in morning and evening support.
We hope these tips
are helpful to your hosting choice. |
